This year, Ramadan will begin on Wednesday, June 17 and end on Friday, July 17. In order to support our Summer in NYC students who will be observing Ramadan, NYU dining services will be open late so meal plans can be used for dinner after sunset. Check with your Program Assistants for hours and locations.
We have a strong Islamic community on campus, and many events are services are available through the Islamic Center at NYU as well as the NYU Center for Global Spiritual Life. We encourage any student who is seeking spiritual support to visit the Center, which hosts 70 chaplain affiliates of various faiths and groups. They can offer guidance to resources both on campus and throughout the city. You can learn more about the Center and its offerings by visiting in person, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
